1. 表示“在入口處”，通常用介詞 at;表示“……的入口”，通常用介詞 to, 有時也用介詞 of。如：
Where is the entrance to the park, please? 請問公園的入口在什么地方?
All entrances to the city are guarded by the police. 進城的所有入口都有警察守衛。
The entrance of the hall is on your right. 大廳的入口在你右邊。
一般說來，用介詞 to 多用來指方向，即指“通向”，用介詞 of多用來指位置(但不絕對，總的說來，用 to 的情形較多)。比較(from www.yywords.com)：
There is a front and a back entrance to the theatre. 這家劇院有一個前門和一個后門。
I met her at the front entrance of the theatre. 我在劇院的前門口遇見了她。
2. 表示準許進入某場所、某組織、某機構等(此時的 entrance是不可數名詞)，通常只用介詞 to。如：
They were refused entrance to the club. 他們被拒于俱樂部門外。
Entrance to the exhibit is on weekdays only. 只有在周日才能參觀本展覽。
